Freaking brutal bloodbath the Quincies has unleashed on Soul Society. One of the great things about the anime is seeing the frenzy movement that is sometimes hard to capture in the Manga.

For instance, that last shots of Urahara, Chad and Inoue. In the Manga, you can clearly see the damage that they all took from Opie. But Inoue was not as clear as it was here versus the Manga.

But it's the brutality that catches you off guard. Yeah, it was brutal in the Manga, but in the anime, it's next level shocking. And I'll be damn, enjoying every episode!!!

i think the only one who can put a fight is Kenpachi because he is the only one keeping his power in bay currently in the anime , if he can unlock it on his own he can kill the quinces withouth using the bankai .
PS_ his bankai is one of the most badass ones in the manga

When Hidetomo Kajōmaru was killed by Jugram Haschwalth. Most of the story is linear when compared to the Manga. But his death was in a later chapter when compared to events in Ch 495 as shown in the anime.

Agreed, Studio Pierrot has brought their A game with the use of CG for Bleach's return.

Both the final battle and relation (Ichigo x Rukia was my ship from the moment but that was stolen from me.)
But again, I guess I’m fine with current relations too. Just hope they will hype the final battle than that of manga which had nothing. All Ichigo’s character development and battle form development went to waste.

As much as I love the anime following core material that whole scene felt like a cop out.
Urahara out of all people turns his back,lowers his guard on this guy that survived his neck being twisted and doesnt even notice others behind him get trashed...
And all of it just to stop ichigo from showing up at soul society...
Gore is great but I dont like the constant switching cuz it feels like the story is barely moving and a lot of it feels like it doesnt even need to be there.
Like we get time for kurotsutchi being mad that other captains didnt wait for his research.
Who cares,it's done...we dont need to waste time on him and some sort of monologue of how great he is lel.
I know sometimes you have too much things going on at the same time so you gotta switch a lot but it should have been better imho.
Maybe I just have too high of expectations since I was never really watching bleach week to week so I didnt know how slow the story was.
The reason why I am even mentioning all this is cuz its already 3 eps that I felt were too short and like the story didnt really move that much.

Urahara appeared goofy but he wasnt dumb,he was prepared.
He might not have been prepared to fight a quincy stern ritter but it was still odd to me that he didnt check his body,bind it with something or just simply not be faced away from it.
These people have all kinds of abilities and the dude even merged with that hollow creature so it wouldnt be surprising if he had some sort of healing thing going on.
Overall it just felt like the plot rn is trying to make thee enemies look strong and keeping ichigo from the main fight/boss.
Urahara portrayal was of a the smartest man basically and now he looked dumb af.
Even the captains that lost their bankais are kinda dumb for doing what they did and it's kinda odd that after all this time the communication wasnt better so that if a bankai had to be sacrificed it would be just one.
The odd part of it all to me is why bankai,why not shikai too since it looks like the captains cant even use their shikai anymore.

This episode actually tried to show the captains' shikai didn't work before they use bankai, in the manga after Byakuya sent that wrestler quincy away he literally told Renji "you know they are opponents we can't beat without Bankai" and we cut to the four captains going full bankai immediately (only to get them stolen asap). I can't really blame them because 1) it was shown their shikai does jack shit, and 2) they probably thought it was "sealed", not "stolen", so the quincies actually don't get a power-up while they get nerfed. Though this also doesn't really make sense because all 4 captains intuitively know that their bankai got stolen, but somehow vice-captain Sasakibe's report was that it was sealed.

Spoiler: The part you mentioned where the plot makes the enemies look strong = majority of the whole arc. Until Tite Kubo didn't know how to finish them off and had to do asspulls to get rid of them. Just a warning that the plot for this final arc isn't great, there's shit tons of loopholes here and there, for me I'm just here to see the fight scenes animated.
